What the app does

Agentic Catalog Repair scans your Shopify product catalog, shows the product-data gaps that keep AI shopping answers from citing your store, and applies the fixes you approve through Shopify's official API. To do that, it processes catalog data for your shop — and only catalog data.

Data we process

  • Product details: titles, handles, descriptions, vendors, product types, tags, categories, and SEO titles/descriptions.
  • Variant details: SKUs, barcodes, prices, availability, and selected options.
  • Rendered snapshots of your public product pages, used to check structured data and on-page evidence.
  • Scan results, detected gaps and their evidence, and an audit history of every fix you approve.
  • Shopify webhook events for your shop (product updates, uninstall, billing plan changes).
  • Your shop domain and billing plan status. We do not collect merchant passwords or payment card details.

Third-party AI processing

When you ask for an AI draft, the app sends the affected gap's details and the related product's catalog fields — title, handle, product type, tags, SEO title and description, a length-capped excerpt of the description, and variant details such as SKU, price, options, and availability — to Google's Gemini API to generate the suggestion. When you measure share of voice, the app sends shopper-style questions built from your catalog's categories and products to Gemini and checks whether the answers cite your store.

No customer personal data is sent to Gemini — the app does not store any to send. Access tokens and API keys are stripped from every prompt before it leaves the app.

Customer data

The app does not collect or store your customers' personal data. Shopify's customer data-request and customer-redact compliance webhooks are acknowledged and logged; there is no customer data to return or delete.

Retention and uninstall

While the app is installed, catalog data, scan results, and fix history are retained so you can review gaps and roll back changes. When you uninstall, the app immediately marks your shop inactive and discards its Shopify access token. When Shopify then sends its shop-redact request (about 48 hours after uninstall), a deletion job removes your stored products, variants, page snapshots, scans, gaps, and fix history, empties stored webhook payloads, and anonymizes the remaining shop record.
